Man'oushe Street and Uber partner during Ramadan

Man’oushe Street teamed up with Uber – Dubai to donate free iftar meal packages to labourers and Uber partner drivers.
Under the initiative, Uber users can enter the ‘UberIftar’ promo code in the Uber app to donate one free meal that will be distributed to both Uber drivers and labourers in Dubai.
Man’oushe Street will be donating hundreds of free iftar meal packages daily for the duration of the holy month.
Man’oushe Street founder and CEO Jihad El Eit said: “Man’oushe Street joins the whole world in celebrating the Holy Month of Ramadan and to help make it more meaningful, we have tied up with Uber-Dubai and have pledged to donate free Iftar meals to laborers and Uber partner drivers in Dubai.
“Every year, we give away free Manakeesh meals to help the needy celebrate Iftar after a day of fasting. This Ramadan, Man’oushe Street has pledged to hand out free meals to help Uber taxi drivers and to laborers break their fast. We thank Uber Dubai for partnering with us on this truly worthwhile initiative.”
Uber – Dubai general manager JP Mondalek said: “Ramadan is a chance for us to look at how we can go beyond transport and use our technology in a way that reflects the true spirit of this month. Partnering with Man’oushe Street makes it easy for riders to help members of the community break their fast. We are proud to be part of this initiative. We look forward to working closely with Man’oushe Street with future programs that aims at giving back to the local community.”
