Manoushe Street upbeat in seeing 200 per cent sales increase by 2015


Manoushe Street (formerly known as Man2ooshe & Co.), a popular Middle Eastern eatery that serves traditional, home-styled street food, has expressed its confidence in driving in continuous growth and has forecasted achieving a 200 per cent increase in sales by 2015. The company's upbeat attitude is widely attributed to huge market demand for their food products. Aiming to keep up with the demand for more local outlets, the company has opened a fifth branch located in Burj Views Downtown Dubai. The new outlet is part of Manoushe Street's move to expand and open more branches across the UAE.

 

According to Manoushe Street senior executives, the newly opened outlet incorporates the company's signature brand of traditional and high quality street food, which includes crowd favourites like Manakeesh, Bureks and special wraps. The company will soon be opening another branch in DIP and is also in the process of scouting for other locations across the UAE. Aside from its expansion initiative, Manoushe Street has also successfully implemented new standards to help improve their operations, which includes the installation of a Microsoft ERP program and the set-up of a new call centre.

 

The implementation of new ERP software is designed to assist the company's 100-strong workforce—ably providing key support to its own set of outlets and key support for franchisees. The newly set-up call centre is expected to seamlessly handle all of the company's home and office delivery requirements. In addition, Manoushe Street has also opened an 8,000 square feet central kitchen that has been developed to efficiently carry out and implement its standardization processes and address assistance requirements presented by its franchisees.
